Boys volleyball tallies back-to-back wins

This week, boys volleyball hosted two league matches against Firebaugh and Chadwick. Facing Firebaugh first on Wednesday, the Panthers had a rocky start but were able to take care of business, beating them in straight sets. They then turned around and hosted the Dolphins on Thursday. Poly did not waver and did not did not tire after playing two days in a row. They were able to defeat the Dolphins in three straight sets as well. With six uncontested sets and two consecutive league wins, the Panthers are in second place in the Prep League. The Panthers have momentum going into next week where they host non-league opponent, Don Bosco Tech, and then travel to Rio Hondo for a rematch after a tight loss in their first meeting.
