Boys tennis sweeps Eagles

Last week, the Poly boys tennis team had their season opener on the road at Marshall Fundamental High School. They swept the board and defeated the Eagles 18-0. The Panthers then hosted the Gauls from Webb Schools last Thursday at Pasadena City College and defeated them handedly with a score of 15-3. This team is unique in that of its nine players, seven are underclassmen and four are freshmen. Their two senior veterans set a good example by leading this young squad into early victories. This week, the team faces two big schools. They head to Temple City to face the Rams on Wednesday and host the Tigers of South Pasadena on Friday. Check the Athletic Calendar for the full schedule.
