League Champions for Poly’s Winter Sports

Two of Poly’s winter teams earned the title of Prep League Champions. The first team to secure the title was the Boys Soccer team. The squad secured their Prep League title on Monday, January 30, with their 2-0 win over Chadwick. This is the program's fourth consecutive league title all under the guidance of head coach Dan Sheridan. The team finished their season with a big 7-1 win over cross-town rivals Flintridge Prep on Wednesday, February 1. The Panthers are 8-1 in the league and 12-5 overall. Next up is the postseason where they await their playoff draw set to release at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 4. 

Poly’s Girls Water Polo team also had a successful season and earned the title of Prep League Champions. They secured their title on Monday, January 30, with their 18-12 victory over La Salle. This was the program’s eighth league title in the last 10 seasons. The team finished undefeated in the league with a perfect 11-0 record and a 17-6 record overall. The team awaits their playoff draw which will also be released Saturday, February 4, at 9 a.m. Congrats to all of our winter sports teams!
