Poly Harriers Earn Post-Season Spots

On October 29, Poly’s cross-country team raced at Pierce College in the 2022 Prep League Cross Country Finals. This was an opportunity for the team to display their hard work from throughout the season. The team ran well and had some amazing results despite missing some crucial scorers that day. Of those who participated, six harriers finished with their seasonal bests and 10 finished with their career bests. The boys JV team raced their fastest team time by eight minutes, girls Varsity finished within 30 seconds of their Rosemead team time, and boys Varsity shaved three minutes off their best race time of the year.

The boys team finished so well that they earned a 10th-place ranking. This could give them an at-large berth into the CIF Prelims. Those results will be released soon. In the meantime, three of Poly’s harriers qualified for CIF as individuals. Stella K. ’25, Adrian L. ’23, and Ronen P. ’25 will be representing Poly in the CIF Division 5 Prelims scheduled for Friday, November 11. More information regarding CIF Prelims and Finals will be sent out via email closer to the event date.

Congratulations to Poly’s cross-country team on a successful regular season!
