Financial Aid Application for the 2023-2024 School Year is Now Open

Dear Poly Parents and Guardians,

Though in many ways it feels like we are just settling into the school year, it is already time to start looking ahead to next year's financial aid process. The FAST Financial Aid Application for the 2023-2024 school year is open now, and due no later than December 16, 2022.

Please review the details below and follow instructions that fit your family's circumstances.

If you are a returning Poly family re-applying for financial aid:
  1. Complete the FAST Application using income information from 2021 between now and December 16, 2022. Monthly expenses should be those you anticipate were spent in 2022, and assets and liabilities should be reported as of the day you complete the application.
  2. The FAST system does not allow us to roll over any tax documents you submitted last year. Please plan to upload your 2021 tax documents including W2’s, 1099’s, personal returns, schedules, and – if applicable- business returns and schedules using FAST’s Quick Processing Tool or mail your items directly to FAST (instructions will be emailed upon receipt of your FAST application). These items should be uploaded no later than December 16, 2022.

When will my financial aid decision be available?
  • For returning families who meet our deadline (December 16, 2022), financial aid decisions will be released along with your re-enrollment contract in early February. Delayed receipt of your financial aid items will result in a delay of both your re-enrollment contract and financial aid decision.
  • Financial aid decisions for students applying for admission into Poly for the 2023-24 year will be emailed along with the notification of your admission on March 10th, 2023.
What if I have additional questions?
  • Please contact Financial Aid Director, Lindsay Morales, at: lmorales@polytechnic.org or (626) 396-6326 to discuss.
You can find a link to the FAST application HERE.  Your 2021 tax documents including W2’s, 1099’s, personal returns, schedules, and – if applicable- business returns and schedules, should be scanned/uploaded or mailed directly to FAST by December 16, 2022. Please do not send these items to me directly. If you have any trouble with your application, FAST offers 24/7 parent support at: (877) 326-3278.

By aligning our financial aid and re-enrollment timelines, we hope that families will experience greater transparency about their financial commitment to school, while also allowing more time to plan for payment in the year ahead.

Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions.

Kind Regards,
