Poly's Composting Efforts Featured On Spectrum News

In January, Poly received a request to interview students in the Class of 2024, who as eighth-graders led a climate action initiative to pilot composting on-site and reduce methane emissions. This interview was featured on Spectrum News 1.

Along with eighth grade Dean Kate Gray, Laura Fleming was an advisor to this group of students who helped pave the way for a number of other impressive climate action initiatives in the Middle School. This school year our Middle School Sustainability Club has led interactive presentations with every Lower School grade to teach our youngest students not only how to sort their food waste at lunch but why it's important for the health of our planet.
