Report of Giving: Parenting Through The Pandemic

In the past year and a half, Poly parents Dr. Ying-Ying Goh and Tony Pang both saw their roles shift dramatically. Dr. Goh, a pediatrician and director of public health and health officer for the city of Pasadena, faced the challenge of mitigating the emerging COVID-19 crisis. At the same time, Tony assumed the role of primary caregiver to the family’s three children. In a recent interview for the Report of Giving, both reflected on the monumental challenges the ongoing pandemic brought, but also the ways in which the Poly community has supported their family. They shared how Poly led students through unprecedented times, inspiring them to make a gift to the Poly fund.
