Athletics Offers Workout Spaces for Poly Faculty and Staff

The Athletics department is not only focused on the mental, physical, and emotional health of its student-athletes, but it is also concerned with the overall health and wellness of its faculty and staff. Starting a few weeks ago, Athletics began offering virtual yoga classes with certified yoga instructor Maya Siklai. These classes are being held via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. until Dec. 17. In addition to yoga classes, Athletics has opened the Aquatics Center for open swim times on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings with a lifeguard on deck as well. As the swim sessions are held on campus, there are strict protocols that must be followed in order to participate. Both of these activities are open to all of Poly’s faculty and staff.
