Most Important Picture and the Ripple Effect of Photography

Brendan Bannon is a professional photographer and educator who has worked for the New York Times, HBO, Doctors Without Borders, and The United Nations High Commission for Refugees. His work on refugee life was exhibited at the MoMA and at the Triennale di Milano. As the founder of mostimportantpicture.org,  Brendan has collaborated with marginalized communities worldwide, teaching photography to HIV positive children in Romania and Uganda, refugees in Africa and the Middle East, and combat veterans in the United States. He will speak about how “Most Important Picture” participants share their powerful stories with wide audiences around the world.
