PolyToday: Love in a Trashcan

Seventh-graders have begun their annual design thinking project, which is based around the framing question, “how might we better manage waste on north campus?” This group’s first step: figure out what is being thrown into the compost-only bins (as part of the empathy phase aimed at understanding our current source separation system). Stay tuned to see various projects unfold as the students tackle other problems like littering on campus and reducing single-use plastics during snack and lunch.
