Poly’s Boys Tennis Off to a Strong Start

After finishing as a finalist in the CIF-SS Division 2 boys tennis playoffs last season, the team returns with seven players and adds two more to its roster. They have moved up to CIF-SS Division 1 and look towards another successful season. They have had a strong start as they faced their first Prep League opponent, Chadwick School, yesterday at the Ernie Howlett Park Tennis Club in Rolling Hills Estates. Chadwick has historically been a tough league opponent, and yesterday was no different as the Panthers defeated them by a two-point different with a score of 10-8. They will close out the week against La Salle on Friday, Feb. 28 at their home courts at Pasadena City College. Check out the athletic calendar for details and directions.
