PolyToday: Fifth grade plays

Google the word "melodrama" and you'll find this definition: a sensational dramatic piece with exaggerated characters and exciting events intended to appeal to the emotions.
The last two Fridays have seen the Class of 2027 performing two melodramas to great effect, putting Lower School students and parents in stitches. Linda Breen's class was first up with "The Paper Bag Bandit Rides Again," and today Amy Masserer's class presented "The Fastest Thimble in the West." Kudos to Tina Cocumelli for direction and Andrew Villaverde for technical assistance and fight choreography.
