Girls water polo kicks off the winter season

Today Poly’s girls water polo team kicks off the winter season competitions. They will play in the first game of the season for all winter sports. The team returns six players from last year’s Varsity team, including seniors Megan Kelleher and Talie Wilmans. After finishing in the CIF-SS Division 4 semifinals last year, the girls come into this season strong adding on two new freshmen to their roster. The Panthers will start the winter season playing against the Rams from Temple City High School. They are on the road this afternoon to Temple City High School for a 3:45 p.m. game time.
