Boys water polo faces big league opponent after week off

After a week of Outdoor Education trips, the boys water polo teams return to the pool to take on big league opponent Brentwood School. The team returns after tough matchups in the fifth annual Varsity Bull Water Polo Run Tournament. They opened the tournament with a nailbiting game against Estancia High School, when they were barely defeated 9-10. They bounced back with big wins over John W. North High School 10-7 and St. John Bosco High School 7-5. They finished out the tournament with tough game against John Burroughs dropping the game 5-10. The Panthers have an overall record of 8-4, a league record of 1-1 including a dominating 14-1 victory over La Salle. Today they host Brentwood School in the Poly Aquatics Center in another league matchup. Varsity plays first at 4 p.m.; JV follows at 5 p.m.
