Undefeated girls tennis continues win streak over first league opponent

The undefeated girls Varsity tennis team faced their first Prep League opponent, Mayfield, on Tuesday. The team went through the afternoon winning most of their sets with ease. Due to facility constraints, play was postponed until yesterday. Going into the conclusion of the match yesterday, the Panthers were up 10-6, securing their win over the Cubs. After continuing the match, the two teams split the remaining two games giving the Panthers the victory with a score of 11-7, extending their overall record to 7-0. Tomorrow the team continues their league play as they take on the Tigers from Westridge School. Varsity will play at Caltech tomorrow afternoon at 3:45 p.m. The JV team will play at Muir High School at 3:45 p.m. Check the Athletic Calendar for details and directions.
