PolyToday: Nice day for a swim

In the midst of the recent heatwave, Lower and Middle School students have been spending time in the pool recently. Today's slideshow includes seventh-graders at a recent ice cream social/pool party to welcome the new classmates to Poly, as well as fourth-grade boys in PE. Students in fourth through eighth-grade all have rotations in the pool in PE throughout the year. Fun fact: The pool party idea was conceived by seventh-graders some years ago in a design-thinking project focused on easing the transition to Poly. During this new icebreaker tradition, students enjoy time with their peers, eat ice cream, play popular music, and cool off in the Poly pool.
