Spring wrap-up: track and field

Last Saturday at El Camino College, members of Poly’s track and field team competed in the 2019 CIF-SS Division 4 finals. Two individuals finished medaling after the day of events: Junior Zoey Mao competed in the girls high jump and placed third in the division; senior Kevin Tyson competed in the boys high jump and finished in second place, clearing 6-4, a new personal best. He also qualified to compete as an alternate in the CIF-SS Masters Meet on Saturday, May 18. The 2019 CIF-SS Masters Meet will also be held at El Camino College.
