Poly swimmers PR at CIF

Yesterday members of the Poly swim team competed in the 2019 CIF-SS Division 3 swimming finals at the Riverside Aquatics Center. Our team did well and swam hard. Senior Pranay Singh competed in the 100 butterfly and clocked in a new personal record and placed 15th. Singh also swam in the 200 IM and finished in fifth place in division 2. Poly also entered in the 200 medley relay with freshmen Taylor Carey and Audrey Cho, sophomore Katie Hoffman, and senior Shaya Naimi. The girls swam a great race, finishing eighth in the division with a new PR as well. Lastly, Carey swam in the 100 breaststroke, breaking her PR and placing sixth in the division. Congratulations to Poly’s swimming and diving team for an excellent season!
