PolyToday: Third grade strings

The road to Disney Concert Hall is long, but Mrs. Scheidemantle's third-graders are on their way! Students debuted their skills on the violin and cello last week. Third-graders began playing instruments at the beginning of the school year and have now performed their first concert! The Class of 2028 also shared a few of the games they play during strings: two players sharing an instrument (one holds and does the left hand while the other person bows the instrument), as well as fun with the entire class, such as lying down while playing or standing up when a certain finger is reached in the piece. The audience of parents and second-graders was impressed with their progress.
