PolyToday: Colonial Day

A focus of fifth-grade curriculum is learning about life in Colonial Williamsburg. As a culmination of the learning unit, the Class of 2026 enjoyed Colonial Day last week. Small groups of students analyzed daily life activities in the 1700s and shared their findings with the rest of the class. Students came to school dressed in Colonial clothing (or clothing from their heritage), made candles, learned to make and write with feather quill pens, and enjoyed a parent-supplied feast.
