Boys basketball tallies up a league win after the break

Poly’s boys Varsity basketball team took to the court yesterday taking on league opponent Chadwick School. The Panthers took an early lead, outscoring the Dolphins 13-4 in the first quarter, and they maintained the lead throughout. At the end, the Panthers defeated Chadwick 48-36. This win is coming off the heels of a successful winter break, when the team participated in the Huntington Park Invitational just after New Year's. The boys swept their opponents and finished with the title of champions of the silver division in the tournament. Congratulations! The team hopes to use this momentum as they take on league opponent Providence High School on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in Gamble Gym.
