Girls volleyball Prep League champs

On Monday, the girls volleyball program hosted Providence in their last league match of the season. They also celebrated the six seniors in the program: two on the Varsity team, four on the JV team. All three teams won, finishing the league season on a high note. For the Varsity team, this put them in first place in the Prep League. The Panthers share the title with the Cubs from Mayfield, with both teams finishing league play 10-2 apiece. The Varsity volleyball team added one more game to their schedule, hosting Hollywood High School on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 4:30 p.m. in the Girls Gym. This is to give the team one more game before CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs begin. Poly will know who they face in the first round of playoffs on Thursday, Oct. 18, when CIF releases the playoff bracket on Saturday. Stay tuned for playoff details.
