Poly Athletics name new boys soccer coach

With the departure of beloved coach Doug Jolly, Poly Athletics named Dan Sheridan as the new boys Varsity soccer head coach. Sheridan is a teacher at La Salle High School, where he also coached their boys Varsity soccer team. He also coaches at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges as the men’s associate head coach. Sheridan has not only built his knowledge of the sport as a coach, but as a player as well: He was a four-year Varsity player at Loyola Marymount University, playing in the Division I playoffs his senior season, as well as a four-year Varsity starter at La Salle High School. Assistant coaches Cesar Rodriguez and Steve Clark will remain on staff and join Sheridan this winter. Welcome, Coach Sheridan!
