PolyToday: Block begins!

Block period began last week for Middle School students. Students meet weekly for an extended class period to explore topics, work on specific projects, or participate in community outreach, benefiting both the Poly community and the broader community. Sixth and seventh graders will have the opportunity to sample all the offerings; eighth graders choose from several options. Offerings include learning American Sign Language, cooking, publishing a newspaper, hiking in the foothills, gardening with California native plants, helping in Lower School classrooms, visiting Del Mar Park Assisted Retirement Living, and the list goes on and on, believe it or not!
