"Talking Hands" is an exciting class that will help your child practice their fine motor skills while learning to communicate using the beautiful art, American Sign Language (ASL)! Through storytelling, songs, and games, students will learn to sign numbers, members of their family, colors, feelings, animals, and more. Review and learning of new content will occur each time class meets. Talking Hands will balance teacher-centered and student-centered learning that encourages your child to get involved. In addition, resources will always be available for the student to look ahead or practice on their own. Having the ability to communicate through ASL will open a whole new world of inclusion for your child!
