All current Poly K-12 families, faculty, and staff experiencing significant financial hardship due to COVID-19.
What is it?
Poly has always been committed to providing financial assistance to members of our community to fully experience Poly’s educational program. With the generous support from members of our Board of Trustees, we can readily assist Poly community members experiencing economic hardship through the Poly Community Fund.
The fund is created with the belief that the financial impact of COVID-19 should not stand in the way of access to a Poly education for any current or new student, nor prohibit our faculty and staff from fulfilling their professional role and responsibilities. A portion of the Poly Community Fund will also be allotted toward faculty and staff professional and programmatic support to strengthen the school’s response and preparation for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.
There are several ways in which Poly can work with families to provide support through the Poly Community Fund:
Essential needs: All Poly families, including faculty and staff, who are experiencing significant household needs and could benefit from resources such as grocery gift cards, non-perishable supplies, or other essentials.
Tuition assistance: If your financial circumstances have changed and you are interested to learn whether your family qualifies for tuition assistance, or if you would like to appeal your 2020-21 financial aid decision due to changes in your family’s income related to COVID-19.
Poly program support: Includes professional and programmatic support for Poly faculty and staff to strengthen the school’s response and preparation for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.
Please contact one of the Poly Community Fund committee members (listed on the right) for more information about possible financial assistance via the Poly Community Fund.
Important note: All requests will be treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality to ensure the privacy of all Poly families, faculty, and staff.
