Visiting artist exhibition opens tomorrow

The Visual Arts Department is pleased to host a visiting artist exhibition called "Conversations in Stone," featuring the work of Carole Babcock. An opening reception will be held tomorrow, Nov. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Boswell Art Gallery on the South Campus. The exhibition will run through Friday, Feb. 10.

Babcock draws upon her experience in dance movement to bring a unique fluidity to her sculptures. Her works in alabaster soapstone and marble help convey her belief that art and life work best as an integrated whole and that one enhances the other.
