Literacy Fun

This course will feature fantastic children’s authors to reinforce important skills such as comprehension, story elements, inferencing, identifying cause and effect, and identifying problem and solution to name a few. Students will learn through art, playing games, story retelling, and sensory activities. Class discussions will deepen students’ understanding of the stories being read, but fun activities will strengthen their love of reading! Each week will bring a new author and a new adventure in literacy.
