Got the phonics blues? If decoding words seems like a tough task, this class is the perfect solution! Designed for students entering the first grade, students will develop effective strategies for sounding out and identifying features of words. Students will also work with word patterns and mastering sight words, focusing on beginning and ending sounds, short vowels, blends, digraphs, and possibly some long vowel patterns. Through interactive games and hands-on activities, word study can be lots of fun!
